How the Air Force is Rationalizing and Integrating Support Tools into One ITSM Solution

Organizations end up with numerous systems to support their various functions such as HR help desk, IT help desk, facilities support, disparate CMDBs, and standalone service catalogues. The ITSM Solution industry has evolved such that standalone support systems can be integrated into one product.
In this workshop you will learn how the Air Force is taking advantage of the industry leading Axios assyst solution to standardize processes and rationalize support tools for IT, communications, facilities, and defense systems into one integrated ITSM Solution. This initiative has resulted in more efficient processes, retirement of redundant and at risk support applications, reduced training, and savings in application support costs. These objectives were achieved using the bilingual Axios assyst software which is available to all Government of Canada departments, boards, crown corporations and agencies through a unique contract put in place for you by PWGSC. Over 15 Federal Government departments have completed enterprise deployments of Axios assyst in the last 5 years, including AAFC, Air Force, DND, CFIA, NRCan, and the House of Commons.
